malanzo 50

Barriers. We don’t like them. Since 2007 we have worked tirelessly to eliminate them when it comes to cycling events. As part of that process we have always tried to find ways to get more people on bikes…so it wasn’t completely surprising to find out the 100 miles of gravel roads was a bit much for some. As a result, we created the Malanzo. This 50 mile event will start at the same time as the Almanzo and similarly offer stunning views and challenging hills. Do you have 50 in you?

Born out of the desire to go further and see more, the Alexander is a 380 mile gravel road race starting and ending in downtown Spring Valley. While this route is certainly open to anyone at anytime, there is a formal event that begins at 5:00am on the first Friday following Mother's Day.
